What Should I Be When I Grow Up?

What Should I Be When I Grow Up is a blog post about thinking big! We all have the desire to shoot for the stars. I believe you are capable of achieving great things.
I didn’t think I would be where I’m at today. I spent a great deal of my life searching for life’s meaning.
Ultimately, I learned that we don’t have to be all things to all people.
What kind of person would you like to be, when you grow up?
  • loyal to yourself and of your choosing
  • trained with skills to overcome life’s obstacles
  • compensated for your time and energy
  • stay with job longer even when you work for yourself
  • customer focused to remain sustainable
I always say, “and the more you know you, the better you grow”.
You definitely want to think about the topics below as well:
  • Ethical Practices keep us from making wrong decisions.
  • Relationship Management helps us keep our friendships healthy.
  • Leadership helps us be confident in situations, but is also based on experiences.
  • Communications is essential because you want to convey how you feel to others.
  • Cultural Effectiveness is really important to understand emotionally because our cultures are historically more diverse than ever before on earth.
So. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but now I realize a few things about choosing my path in life. Growing up, do you remember those old, but in-your-face type, bulletin boards you would see as you [entered or exited] the classrooms at school?
Yah, you know, the ones that showed a list of top paying professions that students could potentially break into career wise, as soon as they finished completing their college degree.
I hope so because I want to make an important point.
Those same bulletin boards actually make us subconsciously think  “What Should I Be When I Grow Up?”.
Don’t you think so? I think think so too!
I wouldn’t stress too much about asking yourself “What Should I Be When I Grow Up?”
I wouldn’t stress too much about growing up because you have your whole life ahead of you. I’m saying that because you do.
Life is suppose to be about the greater good. Whatever your career is in life, make it worth your time.
Lastly, Thank you so much for reading this blog post: What Should I Be When I Grow Up?
Respectfully Written,
Carl Wolfgang Schultz
